This Privacy Policy explains how reSpace, Inc. ("reSpace," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit respace.co and any subdomain (the "Site"), submit a form, sign up for our email list, or otherwise interact with us online.
We try to write this in plain English. If anything is unclear, please email [email protected] and we will explain it.
What We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit a form on the Site (buyer waitlist, property owner snapshot, contact form, applicant questionnaire, newsletter signup, event RSVP, or similar), we collect the information you provide. Depending on the form, that may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- City, neighborhood, or ZIP code
- Property address (for property owner submissions)
- Information about your housing situation, budget, household composition, and preferences
- Any comments or messages you write in a free-text field
We collect this information because you asked us to do something with it (respond to you, evaluate your interest, send you the requested newsletter, etc.).
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our analytics provider records non-identifying information about your visit such as:
- Pages viewed and time on page
- Approximate location at the city or region level (not precise GPS)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- The website that referred you to the Site (if any)
- UTM parameters in links that you click to arrive at the Site
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Umami) that does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal data, and is designed to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws without a cookie banner.
How We Use Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up on your interest
- Evaluate whether reSpace homes may be a fit for you
- Match buyer applicants with compatible groups
- Send you the email content you signed up for (newsletters, launch announcements, application updates, event invitations)
- Provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues
- Comply with our legal obligations
- Improve the Site and our communications based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third parties that help us operate the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform their function.

- If reSpace is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction
Cookies
The Site uses a small number of functional cookies necessary for the website to work (for example, remembering whether you have dismissed a modal). We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking. Our analytics tool (Umami) does not use cookies.
Some Site subdomains hosted on Vercel may set session cookies for the duration of your visit. You can clear cookies from your browser settings at any time.
Email Communications
If you sign up to receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Operational emails directly tied to a request you made (for example, responses to a contact form) are not promotional and may be sent regardless of your marketing preferences.
Your Choices and Rights
For everyone
You can request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
If you live in California
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the categories of sources, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal information and to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). If you live in Washington
Under the Washington My Health My Data Act, where applicable, you have additional rights regarding consumer health data. reSpace does not knowingly collect consumer health data. If you believe we hold information about you that qualifies, please contact us.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide what you asked for, to comply with our legal obligations, and to operate our business. Form submissions and CRM records are typically retained while you remain an active prospect or owner, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
International Users
The Site is operated in the United States and is intended primarily for residents of the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or a Site banner).
