Shoulders of Giants convenes leaders for substantive dialogue about systems, dignity, and the work that outlasts us. Each edition asks the same two questions: whose shoulders do we stand on, and who are we willing to lift next?
Brett Sibert
Brett Sibert is president of Northwest Restaurants, one of the largest franchise operators in the Yum! Brands family, running KFC and Taco Bell restaurants across six states.
His father Sam founded the company in 1994 with thirteen stores. Brett and his brother Adam lead it today, and it has remained a family business the whole way through.
He also co-owns Athletic Form in SoDo, a gym built around a healthy, diverse, and inclusive community. His family has been part of the Seattle Amistad School community for years, which is exactly why this edition carries his name.

Journalist and CEO of Se Habla Media, and the media partner for this conversation. Originally from Colombia, he graduated from The Evergreen State College.
